About RoboForge
We believe everyone should be able to build a robot. Not just engineers with PhDs — but students, hobbyists, farmers, and curious tinkerers in their garage.
RoboForge was founded in 2024 with a simple mission: make robotics as accessible as 3D printing. We design modular, open-source robot kits with world-class documentation so you can go from unboxing to autonomous navigation in a single weekend.
Our R&D Lab
Based in Oakland, CA, our 12,000 sq ft lab houses CNC machines, 3D printers, a pick-and-place line, and a 200m² indoor test arena. Every kit we ship has been assembled, crashed, rebuilt, and stress-tested right here.
We prototype 3 new robot designs per month, with community voting deciding which ones make it to production.
